My Vision for ALI begins with an invitation to co-create an authentic learning community with unlimited potential to discover the beauty and mystery of our true nature. It will be built from the precious presence of people like yourself – individuals mysteriously drawn together to pursue our shared journey. We will all be moved and encouraged by an abiding love of truth that is aflame in each of our hearts.
We will be sustained by our courage and dedication to that truth when we encounter the inevitable barriers and challenges that arise as we recognize and release ourselves from the many expressions of falseness and illusion. We know that the ultimate determinate of how far we can travel on our journey is the strength of our union with each other. This understanding serves to nurture and mature a profound respect, compassion, and love for one another. We value our relationships and willingly work to create transparency and authenticity with each other.
We have a deep basic trust that there is an alive, dynamic, and intelligent force or ‘thrust’ that operates to provide humanity with guidance, love, and support. While our personal journey and condition may seem daunting at times, we take refuge in the knowledge that in the midst of our challenge we can connect to this resource. Aligning with this dynamic thrust connects us with the ‘intent of the Universe’ to evolve to a state of more consciousness, more love, and greater realization of the truth.
Our goal is to actualize our spiritual realization in our day-to-day lives. We come to know who we are in an intimate and delightful way, and to see the True Nature of those around us. Our relationships grow deeper and richer. Our lives are more satisfying and our hearts are at peace. We are more balanced and effective in our work. We feel more intimately connected and responsive to an ever-widening circle that includes; family, friends, community, global awareness, and universal truth.
In pursuit of this Vision ALI provides a proven course of study and experiential learning activities delivered in weekend seminars, small group support meetings, and individual sessions. Since 1987, hundreds of students have benefited from the understanding and practice offered by ALI’s uniquely effective program for psycho-spiritual growth.
